versions of their escapades.
THE ESCAPE
By Brian Johnston
It was on Friday night when
we escaped. We went to the gym
and played floor hockey. It 'was
two o'clock Saturday morning.
Then we played murder ball. •
After the game Dick died because
somebody hit the ball. The 'ball
hit Dick and killed him. Then
Gary started to cry. Then Gary
and I played pin-pong. It was
three o'clock in the morning.
Then I was thinking about Dick
dying. Then Gary said it was
a• bloody shame because his heart
burst . Then we wrote in Mr.
Errington's books. Then it was
Sunday: Then we went tb Sunday
School and made use of the New
Testaments. Then I went and ,
chewed the piano keys. -Then I
went into the Stockroom, and chew
ied some paper and took it back to
the class room and put it in Brian
Hackett's teepee, then had a nap.
We stole ,a Car from, the bulletin
board and had a joy ride. On
Monday we were all recaptyred.
gnawed for an hour. Then Patti
gnawed a while and she chewed
it just about through. I finally
finished it. At, last , we're' free!
We jumped down off the counter.
We ran down to room 7, that is'
the art room. We chewed paper
for along time. Then I thought
I would go to the library to read
some books. Then Patti thought •
she would go to the kitchen and
find something to eat. Darryl
and Mark thought they would go tc
the office. They found a pencil
on the floor and chewed it' to
pieces.. Then Darryl and 'Mark
went to the acquarium to look at
the fish but instead they were cap-
tured on Monday. Then Patti
went to Room 12. She went in a
gym bag. On Monday, Doug
Blake discovered her. There was
only me, left , so I said I would go
to see the others. I• go to the
kitchen and to the office every .
night. I am still at large'and I
feed the others every night.
