In Lucknow, Reeve Joynt Cuts Ribbon
County south of Amabel Townthip.
The board has hired M. M. Dil.
Ion Ltd. as consultants and is en-
couraging municipalities not cov-
ered by zoning bylaws to have
one prepared.
A letter in this regard was re-
ceived from the board chairMan
Harvey .Davis'at the regular meet-
ing of Lucknow Council.
It would appear that before we
entrust our future to the planning
board we had better let them
know who we are , and where we
are.
The letter to Lucknow was'ad
dressed to "The Township of Luck-
now" so it would appear that they
had a bit of planning to do just
around the office , before they go
any farther afield .
It is hoped that the future plan-
ning of Bruce County will include
a basic lesson in geography and
municipalities so that this most
recent creation, in a long line of
boards , will at least know who it
is working for.
