Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Clark of
Scotland , Ontario, and Mark Kikot
of Hamilton, visited over the
week end with Mr. and Md. Mc-
Clenaghan and Eldon.
Mr. Earl McNee of Belmore,
Mr. and Mrs. Graham 'McNee
also Mrs. Mary Bere and Jamie
were dinner guests of Mr. and
Mrs. Herb Farrell of Kincarditie
on Sunday.
Mrs. Rick. Park has been a' pat-"
cent in Wingham and ,District
Hospital this past week. We hope
she is soon able to return home.
Jim Little also is hoping to soon
return.
Word has been received of the
death of Alvin Reed of B.C.. son
of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jake
Reed , formerly of Glenn's Hill
and Dungannon. Funeral service
is' to 'be at MacKenzie's Flamm].

Brownies Enroled
The 1st Lucknow Brownie Pack
opened their meeting on Tuesday
November 27th with a singing
game "The Mystery Man". Anne
Alton and Suzanne Kirkland• met
the mothers of the Tweenies at
the door.
Enrolment was held for the
Tweenies. They are Michele
Humphrey , Bonnie Purves, Rosa -
lea Cameron, Lilo Purves , Janice
McInnes , Tracey McDonagh, Don-
na Humphrey , Rosemary Gilmore ,
Sharon Struthers and Kimberley
Sanderson.. The new Brownies,
their mothers,and District Com-
missioner Mrs. Jack McKim were
then given the Grand Howl.
Fairy Queen Anne Alton placed
the Toadstool for Brownie Ring.
The Sixers collected Brownie Gold
The Brownie Prayer was said.
At Pow WOw Brownies sang
Happy Birthday to Anne Alton and
Brenda MacLeod showed the three
things she made for her Toyrnaker
Badge.
The Brownies played several
games while Shirley Loree and
Brenda MacLeod served toast and
tea to the guests. The meeting
was brought to a close with the
Brownies leaving through the
Brownie Arch.
Treat Injuries
At HosPital
Len. Fex , Wingham, fractured
his ribs when he fell from the
horse he was riding. The horse,
tripped on, some guide wires. Mr.
Fex was released from hospital.
Mrs. Andrea Tibensky, age 29.
R. R. 2 Blyth, was the driver of a
car which was involved in head on
collision with a car driven by
Howard Clarke. She was admitted
to hospital •via ambulance with an
injured' right shoulder and injured
right leg and head injuries.4 Con-
dition satisfactory. Mrs. Martha
Clarke, age 35, R. R. 1 Clinton,
passenger in her husband's car,
was admitted via ambulance with
injuries to head, right leg, and
right hand. Condition satisfactory.
The scene of the accident was
County Road 12, South of Brussels.'
Wingham 0.P.P. McKittrick in-
vestigated.
'Wayne Ten Pas, age .11, R. • R. 2
Wingham. fell in a barn at his
home farm •and fractured his left
arm.
Donald England , Lucknow fell
from a 8 - 10 ft. ladder December
1 and fractured his right heel. He
was admitted to hospital.
Percy Adams, age 65, Blyth,
was driving north on Highway #4
and struck the bridge by the rail-
road track in Blyth. He was ad-
mitted to hospital via ambulance
with scalp lacerations. Investig-
ated by Goderich 0.P.P. Aryson-
en.
George Moffat , age 21, Luck-
now , lost control of the car he was
driving December 2 and landed in
a ditch, west of Lucknow. He was
admitted to hospital with facial
arm and chest injuries.
Investigated by Kincardine 0.P.P.

A special thank you to,George
Cameron who donated a Christ-
mas tree and its decorations for
the solarium on the Second Floor ,
in appreciation for the care he
received while'a patient recently.
The staff and patients will cer-
tainly enjoy it.
The Harmoney Group of Wrox-
eter United Church donated gifts
for the elderly patients who will
be in hospital over the festive
season. They , too will apprec-
iate receiving gifts from Santa on
Christmas morning. •

"Because of a life" , the birth
of Jesus, will be celebrated early
in December at more than 1,000
Christmas Vesper Services across
Canada.'
The services will be conducted
by Canadian Girls In Training
(CGIT) in Baptist Christian, (Dis-
ciples of Christ), Presbyterian and.
United Churches from Vancouver
Island to Newfoundland,
Congregations are asked to join
in celebrating the birth of the man
Jesus. who never turns away from
the suffering or the needy , who
forgives men and women and helps
them begin a new purposeful life.,
and who by a life guided by love
rather than law helps others to
live with freedom, challenge and
risk.
The 34th annual Vesper Service
being used this year was prepared
by Mrs. Mary Nickle of Toronto,
with. assistance from groups in
Saskatoon and Toronto.
Offerings from these services
are the only regular source of
income of the National CGIT
Committee, which co-ordinates
