The motto. Success consists of a
series of little daily victories, was
given by.Mrs. Vic' Emerson. He
has achieved' success., who has'
lived well, laughed often, loved
much, whc; has gained respect of
intelligent folks and' the love of
little children , .who has filled
their little corner and
accomplished their task, who has
left the world better than they
found it, who has looked after the
best in others and given the best
they had and whose life is an in-
spiration.
• Mrs. John. Currie, convener of

November 24, 1973,
Dear, Dorothy and Grant -
We, your' friends, relatives and
neighbors all,
Have gathered this.evening at
Holyrood Hall
To honour your silver wedding,
anniversary
By joining together in merry com-
pany.
We can scarcely realize
How swiftly tinie has fled
Twenty-five long years have pas-
sed
Since you two were wed.
It was on the Tenth Concession'
You decided to make your home
And since that eventful, day '
You have shown no desire to roam
And now you two are looking'
4
back .
On twenty-five years of wedded
life'
The happy days - the toiling days
You have faced as man and wife.
You have built up a fine country
home
As modern as anywhere we roam
A place where we all like to.
come
To share in games, laughter and
fun
You have always been depend-
able'
No matter what might befall
Whether we came to you for help
Or to make a social call
You shared the joys and sorrows
Of those in this neighbourhood
,Taking part in community life'
In every way you could
Now , before of this rhyme you
tire
We want to say your family we
admire
First Brerida then Ruth and Karen
made three
Lovelier,daughters you never did
see
Now Bernie and Michael make a
family fine
We wish you all happiness sub-
lime
Please accept these gifts with
congratulations from us all
We hope you will be happy what-
e'er befall
May Cod bless yoU as you travel
on your way
We shall be happy to 'come badk
on your Golden Wedditig Day/.
