bridal outfit the bride wore a
one layer veil completely border-

mantilla style. She carried a '
continental bouquet.,
Miss Alice Smith' was maid •of
honotir.• Mrs. John Townshend
and the groom's sister Mrs... Keith
McCreary were bridesmaids.
Their dresses were identically
styled with collared scoop neck-
lines , belle sleeves, floor length
in a white woven cotton with tiny
floral pattern. They
wore wide brimmed hats in
blue, hot pink, lime 'green with
matching , shoes. They carried
continental bouquets.
John Townshend was grooms-
man, Joe Burnett and David Gild-
ay ushered guests'. ,
For receiving guests at The
National Traveller Hotel, the
bride's mother chose a floor
length ensemble of pink crepe..
The long sleeved dress had, wide
beaded lapels and matching floor
length sleeveless coat. She car-
ried a pearl beaded bag,.adorned
with pink rose corsage.
She was assisted by the groom's'
mother who chose a floor length,.
princesi coat-styled gown in mint
green and wore a corsage of
yellow sweetheart roses.
The bride changed to a beige
and brown suit, with a corsage of
white sweetheart roses for travel-
ling to Northern Ontario. '

Institute held their meeting Oct-
ober 24th and had Miss Jean Mac-
Donald of Kincardine as guest
speaker. Mrs. Jack Elliott gave
a reading. The Elliott sisters
sang two numbers. Mrs. Cecil
Hollands and Mrs. Jack. Elliott
are to attend Area Convention
at Chatsworth October 29th and
30th. Mrs. Cecil Humphrey and
Mrs.. Bill Pace were the two dele-
gates attending Rally at. Chesley
October 18 , 192 attended.
Mrs. Bob Benson and children
visited with Mr. and Mrs. Mel
Henry for a few days.
Mrs. Lorne Henry is a patient
in St. Joseph's Hospital, London.
Mrs. Dunc Thorburn and Mrs.
Lyle, Olivepvisited with Mr. and
Mrs. Norval Nesbitt.
