The meeting was brought to order by Diane MacKenzie and all repeated the 4-H Pledge. All present answered the roll call, ."One sewing technique I haVe learned". The secretary read the minutes* of the last meeting. These were adopted as read. Coralyn Hend- erson gave the treasurer's report. • As yet the date for Achievement Day is unknown. Plans fox' Achievement Day were discussed.. It was'decided to do a skit on "The Functions of a 'Bedroom". Problems''relating to articles being Made were disCusied and hope- fully solved. For Group Work 'each girl worked on either samples or art- icles to be made. The meeting closed with, the Creed. So Sews WHITECHURCH NEWS The So-Sew Club held their meeting on Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Walter Elliott leader. The president Kathy Purdon op- ened the 'meeting with the 441 pledge. The roll was called and answered by any change made in their bedroom. Janet Adams read the Minutes. The discussion centred on plans for Achievement Day.. Rhonda Gibson was chosen for comryien- tator. Nancy de Boer called the meeting to order. The 4-H Pledge was repeated by the girls'. Anne Colwell took roll call which was "The record book brought up to date". She then read -the minutes of the last meeting which were adopted as read. • We discussed the colour of our book covers and decided on green with silver or gold lettering. We worked 'on Italian Hemstitching for the remainder of the meeting. .
