Mr. and Mrs. McKeith were
married at the_bride's home in
Ashfield on August 20th, 1913 by
the Rev: J. S. 'Hardie.
Present for this happy occasion
was the 'flower girl of 60 years •
ago Mrs. R. D. (Mary) MacDon-
ald of .Sarnia Ontario.
On Monday , August 20th many
friends and relatives attended a
social gathering at West Point
Grey United Church Hall, Van-
couver , given in their honour by
their family. Many congratula-
tory messages were received.
Prior to this event , on Saturday ,
August 18th a family dinner and
, dance was held at
Abbotsford', B.C. Aero Club.
They have four daughters Mrs.
Earl (Verna) MacComber, , Mrs.
Grant (Margaret) Fulcher , twins
Mrs. John (Alma) Gibson and Mrs.
Dick (Olive) Heke , all of.B.C.

have ten grandchildren and seven

George Joynt and Doug Clarke.
Harold Ritchie romped off with
the Junior Championship With
'Harold Thompson and Clifford
Blake as runners-up". •
"The Senior girls .championship
was won by Jean Graham with Jes-
sie MacRae as runner-up. The
Junior Championship went to Dor-
othy Graham. Betty Bissett was
runner-up.

- On Tuesday , October 23rd the
Brownie meeting' started with Mrs.
Webster testing for interest bad-
ges. Anne Hamilton and Shirley
Loree passed their test for the Toy-
maker Badge and Suzanne Kirk-
land passed her test for the Garden.
er Badge. Mrs.' Webster then went
over the requirements for the Craft
Badge with the Pack.
We then had Brownie Ring with
Suzanne Kirkland as Fairy Queen.
At Pow Wow Tawny Owl told
the Brownies that next week would
be our Hallowe'en Party. The
three Brownies that passed their •
test for Mrs. Webster showed the
things they had made.
For work period Snowy Owl test-
ed far the Finger Code withAnne
Hamilton passing this test. Tawny
Owl worked with the Tweenies and.
Donna Humphrey, Sharon Struth-
ers and Lila Purves passed their
test for brushing and
combing their hair.' The TWeen-
ies then tried to tie a Brownie
,tie. Ever)iorie then played a
game of "Human Ladders" and
"One Two, Three". ro
We closed our meeting with the.
