A Kinsmen Club will be formed..
in Lucknow . Interest in the forma.
tion of a local club was initially
sparked by the Wingham Club and
at a dinner meeting last week at
the Log Cabin Restaurant it be-
came apparent that enough local
men were, interested in the forma-
tion of a club to proceed. About
40 attended iricludt re Kins-
men and local men.
To charter a club, there must
be a membership of at least 21.
Another• dinner meeting is slated
for this Thursday evening at the
Log Cabin and a further invitation
is extended to all men in the
area 'interested in, joining. All
those signing as members now
will be` recognizedas charter
members of the new club.
Stolen Car Gets
$300 Damage
A. car , which was reported stol-
en , went out of control north of
Lucknow on Wednesday night of
last week and caused about $306
damage to the vehicle.
According to provincial police
who:investigated the accident ,•
the car was proceeding south from
South kinioss• Church on the town-
ship road and failed to negotiate
the curve at the. Co-op fertilizer
plant , skidding into the railway
tracks.
The accident is reported to have
happened about 8.20 p.m. on
Wednesday., October 17th. ,T he
abandoned car was'reported to
police pt about 10.20 a.m. on
Thursday, October 18th. The
stolen car was owned by Leslie
Kregar of Wingham. Its driver 'is
unknoWn.
Five generations of the Camp-
bell family were recently pictur-
ed at the 80th birthday party of
Mrs. Albert. (Mabel) Campbell
of Lucknow. The family gather-
ing was held at the home of her
son Bill 'of Kincardine.

Bus and Truck
In Collision
A two vehicle collision at .
6.40 p.m. on Tuesday night of /,
last week did slight damage to'
one of the Montgomery buses and
more serious damage to the front
end of a pick up truck owned• by
Gordon Brooks of Lucknow.
The bus, driven by James
Montgomery of Lucknow , 21 was
proceeding west of Campbell
Street , Highway 86• and stopped
to discharge a passenger at the
foot of Bob Street, the street
leading to Lucknow Public
School. The. truck, driven by
Donald Brooks , 17 of Lucknow
also proceeding west,, collided
with the rear of the bus.
Kincardine provincial police ,
who investigated the accident,
reported. $20 damage to the rear
of the bus •and about $300 damage
to the hood , grill and headlight
assembly of the truck.
