Ripley Institute
Donate .$1.00
To Medical Centre.
The curator ; Mrs. Donnie Mac-
Donald asked all members of the
Ripley Wornen's Institute to ans-
wer the roll call with an idea or
picture for the History Book at
the meeting on October 5th in
the Legion. Hall. She also gave an
interesting outline of the business
places in Ripley before 1900.
Plans were made for the County
Rally on October 18th at Chesley . •
A tour of the. Bruce County Board
of Education building will'take
place in the. afternoon. "A bus
will be going to the area conven-
tion in Chatsworth on October
29th., Several members will be
attending. An apron will be don-
ated to the craft table.
Mrs. Peel and Mrs. Vanderhoek
are leading the '4-H Homemaking
.Club on "Accessories for the Bed-
room" .1 Senior Training Schools
will be 'held on "Creative Stitch-
ery" and "Pastry •foods". Mrs.
Peel will lead the latter course
but leaders were not appointed
for the creative stitchery course.
A vote of thanks, was' given Mrs.
Joe Scott and Miss Christene Rob-
ertson for the excellent display

sending of a donation which was
approved. A vote of thanks and
handclap were giVen Mrs. Donnie
MacDonald for the work she did
in convening.the making of the
Bruce Count ., hats, which were
made.in he . home. A birthday
card was F fined for Mrs. Geddes
and mar s• members called at the
Blue ho-,e, to congratulate her on
her 85th birthday.
Mrs'. Frank Scott moved a vote
of thanks to all who telped at the
meeting. At our September
meeting Mrs. Donald Blue dealt
with the "Metric System" which
was enjoyed. A•donatibn,of
$100.00 was approved for the
Medical Centre for Ripley.

Couple Will Live In Windsor
groom, was best man. Guests
were ushered by Herman Leenders
and Don Mulesa. Junior ushers
were Thomas. Foran, brother of
the bride and Larry Maheux
nephew of the groom.
Following the wedding cerem-
ony .a reception and dance was •
held at the Saitford Valley Hall,
Saltford, Ontario.
Mr. and Mrs. Symonds holiday
ed in Algonquin Park and are now,
residing in • Windsor , Ontario.
