wore navy blazers, blue. shirts
and grey pants.
Organist was Mrs. Torn Pritchr
ard. Miss Karen Tyndall, soloigt,
sang "Twelfth of Never" , "Wed-
ding Prayer" and "We've only
Just Begun".
A reception and dinner war held
at the Lucknow Legion Hall. Mur-
ray Vincent ,brother of the groom,
was master 'of ceremonies. - •
"The bride's mother wore a .floor•
length'dress of pink silk knit with
silver accessories and white mum
corsage.
• The groom's mother wore a
floor ,•length dress of floral chiffon
'in shades of broWn, orange and .
yellow with gold accessories 'and
corsage'of orange mums. „ri , . •
For travelling the bride chose
a' short sleeved green•crimp dress
with green and white checked
trim on collar and cuffs and brown
accessories.
Following a wedding trip to
Huntsville the couple are residing
in London, where the bride is em-
ployed at University of Western,.
Ontario. The groom is employed
with Auto 'Haulaway in •
Talbotville.
Honoured guests at the wedding
were the bride's two grandfathers
Wm. Webster.and Wm. A. Hum-
phrey , both of St. Helens; the •
groom's grandparents Mr. and. Mrs. .
Albert Vincent of Belgrave; and
Mrs. Evy Mitchell of Toronto,
aunt of the bride.

Gordon and Ora Martin spent
Thanksgiving week end at the
home of, their son Glen' in' Burling
ton. Glen has been with the sane
4atirance Company now for seven
years. 'Lately he •has been the
branch manager in. Harriilton.
However , recently he received
a big promotion and will be the,
F,toduction Superintendent for the
three provinCes of Ontario, Mani-1
toba and Saskatchewarrand he will'
be stationed at the head office in
Toronto.
Donald Blue took seriously ill'
this past week and was rushed to
hospital in London. It' is reported
that he is now tiut of the intensive
care unit of the hospital there..
People of this area extend their
wishes for his speedy recovery.,

Mrs. Charier 'Wyld ,of Weston were
in Ripley Wityr., and Mts. Niels
Frederiksen on the week end.

Calf show at the.recent Teeswater
Fall 'Fair. was Miss Janice Farrell,
concession 12 , Huron Township.
Janice is the daughter of Mr.. and
Mrs. JaCk Farrell. Her calf was
in the first prize group , placing
sixth in a class of 31 calves. Also
in this first prize group' was the
calf of Miss Carol MacKay. In
the Senior Calf section of the 4-H
Holstein Club were the calves 'of
Dianne MaCKay and Mike. Pollock.
Both Were in the first prize group.

Meeting held last week in the
Ripley District High ,School were

grave , decorated with caldelabra
with pink candles and white dais-
ies, was the setting for the mar-
riage on Saturday, September'
29th at 3.30, p. M. of Carol Ann
Webster and Donald Ray Vincent ,
both of London.
Rev. Roberts of Belgrave
officiated at the double ring Cere-
mony.
The biide is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. George Webster of
R. R. 2 Lucknow. The groom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Vincent of Belgrave.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride chose a floor-length
gown 'of pure white crystalette ,
high Victorian neckline with 'tiny
covered buttons , a yoke of Bel-
gium lace', long Bishop sleeves
cuffed with matching lace and a
gathered flounce around the
bottom of the dresS and also on th
train. The long cathedral train
was caught at the Waistline. Her
Juliet headpiece with, petals of
ribbon :and. tulle held a scalloped
silk illusion veil. She Carried
a nosegay of white daisies 'with
pink sweetheart roses throughout
and white bow`and streamers,
Matron of honour was the bride'
sister, Mrs. Brenda Rutledge of
Clinton. She wore a floor-length
gown of navy backgroundepatteois-
ed in tiny nosegays of flowers.
The white yoke was trimmed with
navy buttons and frill and long
white• puffy sleeves. She carried
a nosegay of white daisies with
pink bow and streamers.
Bridesmaids were Mrs., Linda
Bosman of London, cousin of
the .bride d; Mrs. Batb Black of
Belgrave , friend of the bride.
