Hold Supper
On Friday evening October 5 ,
the Kincardine Orange Lodge held
their annual supper at the Anglic-
an Church Parish Hall. The par-. ish hall was packed. '
At 7 o'clock everyone sat down
to a turkey dinner which was en-
joyed by all. The following were
at the head table , .Mr. and Mrs.
Walter Scott, Mr: and Mrs John
Askin, Mr. and Mrs.. Lorne Em-
merton, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd
Meek Rev . and Mrs. J, R. King,
Mr. and Mrs: Albert Tout, Mr.
and Mrs. Calvin Smith , Rev Bell
and Art McCormick.
Rev. Mr. King, Rector of the
Church of The Messiah, Kincar-
dine, said Grace.
Lorne Emmerton was chairman
for ,the event. Guest' speaker for
the evening was Rev. Brother Bell,
Rector of the. Anglican Church• in
Chesley. Other speakers were
Right Worshipful Sir Knight Wal-
ter Scott of Belgrave. Mr. Scott
is Grand Master of the Grand
Black Chapter of Ontario West. It
was a big honour to have Sir,
Knight 'Scott with the lodge.
Other speakers were: Albert Tout,
committee chairman. • He thank-
ed the ladies; His Worship, Mayor
John Askin; Kincardine Reeve,
Floyd Wieck; Calvin Smith,
County Master of West Bruce; Art
McCormick, Master of Kincar-
dine L.O.L.; Rev. J. R. King,
Rector; Reg Godfrey, a past
'County Master of West Bruce. •
After the speeches there was a
programme by Miss Ruth Rock who
played the accordian; Mrs. Jack
McLean; Norman Dunsmoor; Mrs.
Les Wardell;. Mrs. Carman Mc-
Leod at the piano.
