NOTICE RESPECTING
ASSESSMENT APPEALS
TOWNSHIP OF HURON
The assessment. roll may be inspected at „the municipal
office located at R.R. 4 Ripley, Ontario.
Any complaint with respect to an assessment on the assess-
ment roll-may be 'brought to the Assessment Review Court pur-
suant to section 52 of The Assessment Act, R.S.O. 1970, c. 32
as amended by section 10 of The Assessment Act, 1971.
Notices of Complaint must be made in writing' either by
letter or on forms available at 'the Municipal Office.
For purposes of identification, please include your name
and postal address, and the reason(s) for complaint. If ,possible
note also the assessment roll number; the street address, con-
cession and lot numbers, and the municipality in which the pro-
, perty under complaint is situated.
Any notice of CoMplaint shall be mailed by ordinary mail
to the Regional Registrar named below, and, in addition, by
registered mail to any person whose assessment is complained
of,, not later than the 31st day of October, 1973.

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Buckton
celebrated their 35th wedding
anniversary last week. They were
married in South Kinloss Presby-
terian Church October 8,. 1938 by
Rev. G. M. Young. Bridesmaid
Was the groom's sister, Miss Ethel
Buckton, now Mrs. Brian Booth-
man of Alberta and groomsman
was William Horwood of Toronto,
cousin of the groom (now deceas-
ed). Flower girl was Catherine
MacKenzie, of Detroit, now Mrs.
Warren Peterson of Florida , cous-
in of the bride.
Mary and Herb have lived on
their farm on the 4th Concession
since their marriage with the ex-
ception of seven years 1944-51
spent in Toronto.
They have two children Dr. W.
A. Buc.kton Of Forest and Marian.,
Mrs., John Mowbray of Ashfield
who honoured their parents at a
dinner at Sutton Park Inn,
Kincardine on Saturday evening.
There were twenty-one guests
who returned• to the family home
and were joined by close neigh-
bours for the evening. •
