Spence Irwin of Lucknow under•
went surgery on his. right "leg on
Friday, October 5th at Victoria
Hospital in London to relieve an
arthritic condition. He was home
again on the following Tuesday
and is getting' about on crutches
with a east on theleg. The leg
had to be broken to perform the
work. Spence hopes in the future ,
if the present work gives hitn.re-
lief, 'to haVe the flame: surgery
performed on the other leg.

returned from University Hospital
London, where he was a patient
for 11 1/2 weeks, during which
time he underwent ,surgery.

Died At Huronview
Mrs. Charles Morrison, the
former Elizabeth Pearl Irvin, pas-
sed away at Huronview , Clinton
on Friday,. October 12. She was
76.
The funeral service was held on
Tuesday, October 16, at .MacKen7
zie Memorial Chapel, Luclulow.
Interment was in South Kinloss
Cemetery.
