The third meeting, of the Bed.
Bugs was held Mohday, October 1
at 7.09 p.m. in the Lucknow Cen-
tral Public School, The 4-H
Pledge opened this meeting. Roll
• call "The accessories I plan to
make" was answered ,by five
rnembers. Lorna Boyle read
the minutes of the last meeting
and these were approved. ' Be'
_cause the treaurer was absent hei

The front cover was discussed
Karen Elliott, had an interesting
idea and is going.to try this
week to make a.sample: It
was decided not to have a meet-
ing next week because of the. ,
Thanksgiving holiday, •
Mrs. Bolt showed us how to
make continuous bias and also
how to make corded bias piping.
• Each girl set up a sewing- mach-
. ine and did this continuous bias.
Because there were no zipper
foots the bias piping' has to be
done at home.
The meeting closed with the

Handkrafters
St. Helens's Hafpy Handicraft-
- ers held their 3rd meeting on Tues-
day the 25th at the St. Helen's
Hall. The meeting started with
the 4-H pledge followed by the
roll call,, which was answered by
all members.
Plans were discussed for Achieve
met Day and for the book covers.
The handoht sheets for meeting
3 ,were taken up and the hand-
ciut sheets for meeting 4 given
out. Mrs..Errington"read us about
different ways to make cheese
and different kinds of cheese.
Linda Lyons and Margaret Mac-
Pherson made Finnan Haddie with
egg sauce. Annabelle and Verna
Aitchison were on the clean up
dornmittee.
We closed with the 4-H Creed. •

Kitchen Kuties
The last meeting of the .4-H
club, Kitchen Kuties , was held
September 29th at the home of
Mrs., Karla Hogan with nine
members present.
Anne Drennen, Joanne VanOsch
and Janette Hogan made pizza.
Mrs. Hogan made a salad.
We decided to hold the next
two Meetings at the home of Mrs.
Betty Rayne on' Saturday, Octob-
er 6. The meeting closed with the
4-H pledge.

Charmers
The second meeting of the
Chamber Charmers was held at the
home of Mrs'. Haldenby on Fri-
day, September 28th at 4.00 p.m,
Nine members were present,
The meeting was opened with
the 4-H pledge followed by roll
call "The colours I plan to use
in my bedroom" Anne Colwell
read the minutes of the last meet-
ing.
Betty Colwell told us how to '
arrange furniture and wall hang-
ings for an uncluttered and pleas-
ing look. We talked about the

The first meeting of the -Clover
Valley .4-H Club was held on Tues.
day , September 25 at the home
of Mrs. D. Elphick. The name of
this club is "Accessories for the
Bedroom". Our leaders are Mrs.
Raymond Hamilton• and Mrs. Dav-
id 'Elphick..
The meeting was opened with
the. 4-H Pledge: Mrs. Hamilton
distributed the members pamph-
lets after which she gave an out-
line of the project.
The election of offiders was as -
follows: President , Annette Elph-
ick; Vice President, Donna El-
phick; Treasuret, Wendy Hamil-
ton; Press Reporter , Joyce Osborne
Mrs. Elphick led the discussion
which was about colour , colour
harmony and the'colour wheel.'
Each girl is to have the colour
wheel coloured by the' next meet-ing.
The 'next meeting will be held
on Wednesday, October 3 at Mrs.
Hamilton's. The meeting closed
with the 4-H Creed.
