The evening • wedding took - place at KnOx Presbyterian Church-, Kincat- dine, with Rev. A. McDowell officiating for the double-ring ceremonY. The bride is the daughter of Berwick and Catherine' Bell of . Kincardine a the groom is- the son o Ronald and Kathleen Th ker of RR 4 Kin- cardine. • Given in marriage by her patents, the bride looked lovely in 'a full length gown of taffeta and chiffon, fashioned with a high neckline, empire waist and long full pleated sleeves. Her floor-length• veil was, edged and trimmed with lace, which also accented het gown. She carried a bouquet of yellow' roses, white daisies and baby's breath. Maid of .honoirr. was. Heather Bell, sister of the bride. She wore a / floor length yellow polyester gown, styled with a scoop neckline, empire waist, puffed sleeves and matching . floppy brimmed hat. She carried. &nosegay of daisies and baby's breath. Best Man was. Blake Devitt of RR No. 2 ,Ripley, friend of the groom. Guests were ushered by Steve. Bell, brother of the bride, and Ken MacDonald, brother-in-law of the groom: In the lovely setting of gladioli and candlelight couple declared their beliefs of marriage, whiCh they had writ- ten together. Soloist was Miss Doreen Doucette of Kitchener, classmate of the bride, **ho - sang "The Wedding Song" at ,the beginning of the service and - her , own composition "Follow Me" after vows were declared. She accompanied herself with. guitar music. Mrs. Lynda Shewfelt was organist for the ceremony. --`-• A reception followed at the Kincardine Curling,. Club, where the bride's mother received guests in a gown of pink and yellow flowered chif- fon over "taffeta. Her corsage was yellow and pink rosebuds. The mother of the groom chose a floor-length gown of pink polyester crepe and wore a cor- sage of -pink and white rosebuds. For travelling • the bride changed to 'a navy and white dress with white accessories. A corsage of red rosebuds accen- ted her. dress. , After returning from a honeymoon trip to Ottawa and the 'Thousand Islands, the 'happy couple have taken up residence at 81. Emma Street, Guelph. ,The bride is employed as a Registered Nurse and the groom is attending his fourth year at the University of Guelph. • • , • Guests attended the wedding from London, Toronto, Listowel, Kitchener, Waterloo, Hamilton, Galt, Goderich, Sat- nia, Owen Sound, Wingham Lucknow and Ripley. • Prior :to her, marriage the bride was honoured with five showers.
