THAT Kincardine Ontario Provin-
cial Police investigated a Com-
,plaint on Sunday, August 26
after it had been found that the .
west window in the office of the
local swimming pool had been
entered sometime between
9 p.m. Saturday night and
1 p.m.. Sunday afternoon. A
clock was thrown in the pool as
well as pool skimmers. A tro-
phy, made out of javex bottles
by the Recreation group, which
:was to be presented to the win-
ner of the swirnathon. was des-
troyed in the senseless act of
vandaliim.
THAT Bill Nelson of Kincardine'
and formerly of Lucknow has
been engaged by the Kincardine
Police Department as a proba-
tionary officer. He was one of
five applicants for the position.
Bill was formerly a member of
the Kincardine Police Depart-
ment for three years, later fil-
ling a similar roll in Whitchurch
TownShip near Newmarket be-
fore accepting the police chief's
job at Lucknow. Bill later ent:-
ered the butcher businessin
Lucknow And since returning to
Kincardine has been'employed
at Forbes Food Market.
THAT Miss Cathy Jamieson re-
turned-on Saturday, August 24th
from C. G. I . T. Camp Council
at Ryde Lake near Gravenhurst.
She was one of seventy girls
from Ontario to attend. •
THAT Mr. and Mrs. Ken Bricker
recently moved to their farm,.
the former Moore place, on the
13th of West Wawanosh. They

Compensation For
Two Injured
Two men received awards from
the Criminal Injuries Compensa -
tion,Board for injuries suffered in
a shooting, April 30, 1972. '

Steven Donaldson, 19, of Tees-
water, was awarded $1,758 and
Douglas Wall, 20, of R. R. 1
Holyrood reeeived $1,416. The
pair were wounded and. Donald '
Donaldion, 'the father of the
wounded youth, was killed in an
attack outside the family resid-
ence at Teeswater.
Steven Donaldson was ,awarded
$1,000 for pain and suffering,
$663 for pecuniary- losses and $95
for expenses. 'Douglas Wall re-
ceived $600 for pain and suffer-
ing, $813 for pecuniary losses and
$3.80 for expenses.
