of the death of LOWS MeHardy ,
whOse wife 'is the former Lorraine
• DUrnin of Crewe. He was in his
60th year and died suddenly at his
home in Hamilton. Besides his
wife, he is suivived by three child-
ren Robert, Judy. (Mies. George
1•10Wson) and Marcia (Mrs. Leon-
ard, Settle); alsb five grandchild-

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Finnigan
from Florida are holidaying with

On Sunday a group of people
'travelled 'to Akron, Ohio, by
'Alvin Sherwood's bus, to attend
"Cathedral of To-morrow" with
Rex Humbard.
John Stanbury accompanied
by David Bere enjoyed a few days*
camping trip recently.
Mr. and Mrs., John Park and
- children, Wayne and Glenda ,
left last Monday on a motor trip
to Tobermory, then by ferry to.
Manitoulin, to Sudbury, Brace-
' bridge to Santa's Village,
_Orillia Collingwood' and the
Scenic Caves, returning home on
Thursday.

At Hospital
, Scott Sperlich, age 17, Michi-
gan, U:S.A. , was the driver.of a
car that went out of control on
August 23 one mile East of Bel- '
fast and rolled. He was admitted
to hospital via hospital.ambulance
with, contusionsand abrasions to
face, treated' and later released.
Mark Johnston, age 15 , Bloom
field, U.S.A. , passenger in' the
car, was admitted to hospital
.with a dislocated right hip. The
accident was investigated by God-
erich 0.P.P.'Conitable Staffer.
Jamie Smith, age 12, Wingham,
fell off his bicycle on gravel and
lacerated his left knee.
Darlene Smith, age 5 , Wing-
ham, was treated for facial lac-
erations and later released.
,John Rudolph, age 5, of Kitch-
ener, at 'a summer residence at •
R. R.'.1 Gorrie, was treated for
multi-abrasions to face resulting
from a fall in the,barn. •
John Brigham, R.,' R. 1, Blyth,
was'treated for lacerations to left

Tony DeGroot, age 18, Streets-
vine , was bitten by a dog at Arn-
old Lewis' residence. Investigat-
ed by Wingham 0.P .P. Balzer.

Brussels, received 'a badly lacerat-
ed left hand 'when he caught his
hand between a wagon and tractor
an the Gerhardt farm.
Wayne Bohnert, age 12, K. R.
3 Teeswater, received painful
injuries to his right foot when a'
part of a machine fell omit at his
home farm. He was treated and
later released. -
Richard DeBoerr, R. R. 1,
,Bluevale, age 16, lacerated his .
left hand with a silage fork.
James McKinnon, R. R. '2 Tees-
water, was separating cattle when
they bolted and knocked him
down causing lacerations to his
head. He was treated and later
released.
Joanne Anger, age 14, Wing-
ham, caught her fourth right
finger in a car door, lacerating ,
same.
Julie Cameron, age 12, Oshawa,
received a dog bite on the face at
the residence of Agnei Cameron,'
,Wingham. Investigated by Town
Police Adams.
Cameron Ross, age 12, Blue-
vale , received multi-abrasions to'
his right arm and leg when he fell
off his bicycle.

Mrs. Harvey Alton returned
home last Friday and, is steadily
• improving in health.

Willowdale and Mrs. D. S. Fine s'

their summer home here.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs.
Bill Henry, nee, Myra McNair ,
who were married at Cranbrook on
Saturday, August 25.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Petrie of
Goderich visited on Sunday with
Mr. and Mrs: John Park. Wayne,
and Glenda , who hadi'ispent the
week end , with their grandparents,
returned home 'with them.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex Smith of
Owen Sound were guests of Mr.
and. Mrs. Robt.. Irvin on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Maize of
Goderich were guests of Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Glenn on Saturday,
and also enjoyed a drive through
Vernon's Park at Auburn.
Last Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Glenn were at the Cook picnic
in Kincardine. There were 50
in attendance.
Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Maize
and three children of Downsview
were/dinner guests of. Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Glenn last Tuesday. •
DUNGAIINON'- Mr. and Mrs. Jack Errington,
also. Mrs: Melinda NiVins of Clin
ton, returned home Tuesday fol-
lowing .a month's holiday, They
flew to Vancouver for one week,'
then accompanied 'a cousin and
motored back to Regina, whete
they visited relatives for'three
weeks. It was 38 years since
some had Met, The remainder
of 'the return trip was made by bus.
