Some 365 young people from all across , Canada took part in this, exchange. I left home on Wednesday. July 11 and travelled by train to Edrnon- tdn, Alberta. •There I was.pick- ed up and brought• to my host • family'S plaCe, 'Mi. and Mrs. Art Swanson'of• R. R. # darnrose Alberta. Jane Ahrens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norrnan Ahrens R. 2 Elmwood, has been award- ed the Annual Bruce County Wom en's Institute Scholarship. Jane has been in .4-H Home- making Club work for seven years and has completed fourteen clubs to receive both County and Provincial Honours. In 1972 :Jane was chosen as a. delegate to attend the Provincial Girl's Conference. in Guelph'.
