Obituary
R. A. PENTLAND
The death Occurred fn North
'Bay Civic. Hospital on Sunday,
'July 8, of Ronald Augustine Pent-
gland , fifth son• of the late Mr.
and Mrs. A. B. Pentland of Dun-
sannon. Mr. Pentland spent his
early years at Dungannon, but has
'hied in North Bay for the last
twenty-five years as. a commer-
'cial traveller. In later years his
hobby lias been wood-working,
'specializing- in lawn furniture,
until failing eye-sight forced him to.give, up that pleasure.
' His wife, the former Vivian
Straughan of Auburn, survives.
The funeral, conducted by Rev.
John Harries of St. Andrews United
'Church, was attended by his
sister Mrs. E. Pritchard and
'brothers, LaVerne, Frank, Alan -
and`Wilfred, and• many . nieces
,and nephews. His brother Benson
was in the far west and did not get
home, His other sister, Mrs.
Ralph Foster, died in 1953. ,
Interment' was in Terrace Lawn
Cemetery, North Bay. The pall-
bearers were three friends, Eddie
Caswell, Les Peachey and Guy
Lamorie and nephews, Roger,
Alwin and Brian Pentland:
Scott of Lucknow.
A reception followed at the
Lucknow Legion Hall '
The bride's mother wore a
.floor-length dregs of apricot trim-
med with gold and corsage of
white roses.
The groom's mother wore a
blue floor-length dress trimmed
with white and corsage Of white
roses.
For travelling the bride chose'
.a white pant suit.
F011owing a short wedding trip
the couple are residing in Lucit-
now. The groom is employed
with Dominion Road Company,
Goderich.
The marriage of Dorothy Wag-
ner , daughter of •Mr . and Mrs.
Gerald Wagner of LucknoW and
Dennis Schultz, son of ,Mr. and'
Mrs.. Other Schultz of R. R. 1
Lucknow, took place in Lucknow
Presbyterian,Church on Saturday,
June 16th at 2.30 p.m. The
church was decorated with aande
labra and potted daisies.
Rev. Glenn Noble officated at
the double ring ceremony. ,
Gi'ven in marraige by her ,
father, the bride chose a floor-
length gown of nylon over satin
covered with daisies:. She Car
ried a bouquet of daisies and
roses. -
Matron of honour was the
bride's sister Sharon Austin of
Belfast.
Bridesmaids were Linda John-
ston., sister of the groom and
Dona. Wagner, sister of the bride,
both of Lucknow.
The attendants 11 wore. pink
flowered dresses and pink hats
and each carried a basket of dais-
ies.
Shelly Wagner, niece of the
bride of Woodstock was flower
girl. She wore a floor length pink
dress and carried a basket of dais--
ies. Troy Wagner, nephew of the
bride of Woodstock,' was ring
bearer:, .
Groomsman was Brian Johnston
of Lucknow. Ushers were •
Wayne Wagner, brother of the
bride and Elwin Schultz, brother
of the groom.

ents of Whitechurch but are now
making their home at the East-
holrne Home for the Aged at
