Wingham and District Hospital over thenewspaper holi- day period. Grant Gilchrist, age 12, R. R.. 5, Lucluibw , fractured his right thumb Rine 26 playing ball at hOme. Michael Jansen, age 7, R. R. 3 Holyiood, fell off a pony at his,home July 2 and fractured his right wrist. Miles Harrison, age 14, R. R. 1. Holyrood , caught his left hand in a hay baler at' his home and amputated the tip off the left first finger. Thomas H. Hackett, R. R., 3 Lucknow ,,was admitted to hospit- al July 3 with a fractured right hip suffered in a fall at his home. Kevin Kilpatrick, age 13, R. R. 1 Lucknow fractured a bone in his right hand. July 9 while throwing bales of hay on the farm of Wayne ferome. • Patricia Hoggart , age'13, R. R. 1, Wingham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ross, Hoggart , was admitted to' hospital with head injuries. She 'was found 'unconscious on.the road. She had been riding her bicycle on Highway #87 about.1/4 mile north of Bluevale. Dale McInnis., age 15, Blyth, fell off his bicycle and lacerated his right finger. Catherine Stanley, age 7,: R. R 1, Holyrood, and her sister, Con- stance, age 8, fell off 'a load of hay on their home farm. July,of West Wawanosh Township Council was held on Tuesday evening, July 3rd. at the Hall, with all members present. As the Minutes Book was, at the time of the 'meeting, in the Aud- itor's hands, the Clerk was unable to read the minutes of the June meeting.. A motion by Councillors Hickey and Rutherford granted the Huron County Plowmen's Association permission to sell. tickets to raise funds on their own behalf 'in .the Township of West Wawanosh.' A leiter, from the Waste" Management Branch of ,the Minis- try of the Environment, regarding the meeting held at the West Wawanosh Dump with some mem- bers of Council, was read by the , Clerk. The writer, Mr. Beamer, reported that the present site' will be entirely suitable as a land fill site and that.Council will, have to have the, land fill operation work- ing by June 1974. In preparation for this operation Council will place a gate one the dump. entranc and the dump will be kept locked with the exception of two days per week. The two-day per Week, iopening will be put into effect in September' 1973. " The Clerk was instructed to write the AsSessment Office re- questing, a dog count for '1973.
