On Saturday at noon,
df June twenty-third;
Many children all ages,
Waited anxious on the curb
They awaited their hero,
Paul Henderson by name;
To lead off a parade,
In honour of his name;
Some may not know him
But to us he is dear;
Cause his great team effort
Won Canadians fame last
At about two o'clock,
