. The July meeting of the Holy-
rood Women's Institute will ,be.
held at' the home of Mrs. Raynard
Ackert on Thursday', July 5th at
6:30 p.m. This will be a pot
luck supper. Roll Call: - suggestion
for quick meals. There will be a
travelogue. Directors - Mrs.
Morgan Johnston and Mrs. Raynard

week with Mr. and Mrs.Harold

spending the holidays with her

Mrs. Pearl Lloyd of London visit-
ed with Edna and May Boyle and

We ,extend sympathy to William,
George and .Art Haldenby in the
death of their sister Mrs. John
(Minnie) .McIntyre of Culross,
Manitoba. They all attended the
funeral on Tuesday afternoon,
making the trip by bus.

Friends of Mrs. Don Gillespie
are pleased to know that
she was able to return home
from the Wingham and District
Hospital where. she has been a
patient for some time. We wish
her improved health.

TRACK AND FIELD
On Wednesday, St. Joseph's
School took part in the Track and
Field Day once again at the F.E.
Madill Secondary School in.
Wingham. This was for public
and separate, schools alike, who.
will have students attending. the
Wingham High School.
St. Joseph's school, Kings-
bridge placed first with 218 points
with Howick Central a very close
second with 217 points.
Two Individual Championships
were also won by two ,
Kingsbridge students with John
Crawford taking the Senior Boys
and Donna Drennan, winding the
Intermediate Girls.
