Harry Edenborough', manager
of Silverwood Dairies Ltd. in
Lucknow, has been transferred to
the London office and will take
up his new duties there in the
very near future.
Co ding to Lucknow from the
Elmira plant last October lst,, he
replaced William Wharry as the
manager here. Mr; and Mr.
-Edenborough have grown to like
the . Lucknow. community very
much: arid the°move is not one
that • is,anticipated by them.
Speaking with The Sentinel,
Harry said that they have been
very warmly received in this
community and, aspiredicted by
friends before coming. here, have
found Lucknow a fine place to
live. Theywill retain their
home in Lucknow • with the thought
that when retirement comes in a
few years,• they might wish to
return here to live.:
There will be no replacement
for Harry at the local. Silverwoods
plant. He will be working in a ,

The Ashfield Presbyterian
Church celebrated 125 years of
service' with special services on
Sunday, June 17.
We date the Ashfield church
from 1848 when the Presbytery
of London recognized_it as a mis-
sion station.' This was a number

of a summer recreation program
for the community headed "Rec-
reation
Rec-reation 73".
The program will include a •
playground for children conducted
while,swimining lessons are in
progress, boys and girls house-
leaguesoftball and roller. skating
'at the arena.
The skating and ball will com-
mence June 27th and the other •
activities on July 3rd.
Doug Campbell has been en-
gaged to look after the roller
skating program and he will be.
assisted by Donna Greer, Gail
Jamieson and Janet Ritchie. The
girls will be in charge of the play
ground. There were 12 applica-
tions for the.positions.
