Mrs. B. F. Green introduced

quite an interesting display. She
was thanked by Mrs. Peter Chand-

• Several contests for the grand-
mothers were 'conducted by Mrs.
Wm. Purdon and Mrs. Ernest
Snowden. Each grandmother
received a dainty corsage. Mrs.
Russell Phillips gave a contest

prepared lunch.

by about 35 people, including
present and former reeves, coun-
cillors and employees. • High

•The joint meeting of Dungan-
non and Nile ladies held at
"Camp Menestun'g", north of
Cloderickon Thursday. June' 7 was
enjoyed by all who attended'.
Following a pot-luFk dinner a
program consisting of a sing song
using a variety of musical instru-
ments, several readings, also con-
tests and a geography match,
made it a day to remember.
Weather wise it was a good day
to see the buildings and camp
grounds.

Welcome is extended to Mr.
and Mrs.. Marvin Smith from Tor -
'onto, who have purchased the
new home of Gerrie Glenn's on
Joseph Street. They plan to
spend week ends here until his
retirement.
