The marriage ceremony was
performed by Rev. W. A. Brad-
ley, pastor of Knox Presbyterian
Church, in the Presbyterian
Church iri Teeswater.
Rev. Mr. McDonald of.conces-
sion 8, Culross was present at •
the service.
The bride's twin sister Kate;
Mrs. Earl Thompson of Colborne,
Ontario, was her sister's brides-
maid and her brother Hugh Beck-
ing was best man.
Margaret and Bill have a
daughter Florence, Mrs. Norman
Fry of Harriston and a son Ralph
of Guelph, .also five grandchild-
ren.
They were bereaved by the
death of two children, Wilma, ei
age 12 , who died in 1941 and
Wm. Hugh, who died in infancy
in 1925.
An evening in honour of the. •
anniversary was held by friends
at Holyrood Hall'on Tuesday of
last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Haldenby farmed
in Culross in the early years of
their marriage. In 1951 they
moved to their present home in
Kinlough and in 1956'opened a,
general store business there which
they continue to operate.
