•• HENRY DONAIS
The death of Henry Donais of.
Lucknow occurred suddenly at his
home on friday; May. 4th. He
was in his 59th year. 0
.Henry was a son .of Mrs. Omar
(Lena Simard). Donais and the late
Mr. Donais and was born at Til-
bury on August 7, 01914, and was
the eldest' of their family of
thirteen.
On November 15 , 1938 he
married Marie 'Anne (Marion)
Daudlin of Tilbury.
In 1947 Henry and Marion, as
they were familiarly_•known,,
came to . Lucknow. asmanagers of
the Lucknow Fruit Market, then
owned by Ivan Louzon, where
they remained for six years.
In 1953 they bought the 'tuck -
now grocery business of .Oliver
Glenn,which they operated for
fifteen years under the name' of
Henry's Fruit Market..
In July 1968, they soldtheir
business to Everett and Ralph
Aalders, retiring from the grocery
and fruit business.
They 'both had a great interest
in gardening, particularly work-
ing with flowers, and for the
past five years their work in this
line was in great demand.
Besides' his wife Marion, Mr.
Donais is survived o by his mother
Mrs. Omar Donais of Tilbury
and his four sisters and eight •
brothers, Mrs. Charles (Louise)
Hamilton of Lexington, Ken-
tucky; Mrs. Gerrard (Rose) Larsh,
Mrs. .William (Elizabeth)0 Blair
Mrs.• Charles (Mary Ann) Coutts,
all' of Tilbury; Leonard of Wind-
sor;
ind-sor; Clifford and Louis, both of
Chatham; Orville of California;
Rosaire, Rene and Remie, all of
Tilbury; and• Lawrence of Van-
couver, B.C..
He was predeceased by his fath-
er in June 1970; and 'by their only.
child.; a son Philip, in 1945
at the age of 21 months.
The remains rested at the Mac-
Kenzie Memorial Chapel, Luck -
now until Sunday morning then
at the Masse Funeral Home, Til-
bury. On Monday, May 7 Mass
was akSt. Francis Roman Catholic
Church at 11 a.m. with Rev. Fath-
er Girard officiating. •
• Interment was in St. Francis
Roman Catholic Cemetery,
