shut-ins.
After the benediction, Grace
was sung and a. dainty lunch serv-

Entertain 'Club
From Wingham
On Tuesday evening the Town
and Country Club (Senior Citizens)
entertained a group of Senior Cit
izens.from \gingham Club
at the. Legion•Hah.
The president Aubrey Higgins'
and Mrs. Higgins • welcomed the
visitors and they were escorted to
them places by the vice president.
P. A..Murray and Mrs. Murray.
The evening was spent in playing
bridge and euchre with twenty-
four tables taking part. .
The prizewinners were•Mrs.
M. McKinney of Wingham, high
lady for bridge; Mrs. Wm.
McKenzie of Wingham high lady
for euchre, and Ray Finnigan high
man for euchre; 'Earl MacDonald
wasa winner of the door prize.
Everyone enjoyed a pleasant
evening of cards, .a her which a
very tasty lunch was served by the
Lucknow ladies,
Mrs. Olive Lewis, on behalf of
Wingham Club, extended a vote
of thanks to the local club.

in the Bible. .

Mason who showed slides of Eng-
land, Scotland and Wales and
gave a commentary of the trip:
Mrs. Mason was.thanked by Mrs.
Moore.
Mrs. Moore reminded all of the
special anniversary May '28 even-
ing meeting at Calvin Brick
Church when Rev. Barry Passmore
will show slides and give a com-
mentary of his recent trip to the
Middle East.' Mrs. Moore closed,
the meeting. Mrs. Gordon 'Mc-
Burney's group served the Birth-
day Tea and held a Bazaar.

where she underwent surgery on
Friday. Her many friends wish
her a good recovery.
