The Girl Guides held their reg-
ular.meeting on Wednesday, May
9th rather than. Thursday this
week.
'The meeting opened with: roll
call and Flag raising by the Robin
4120
Patrol, followed by 0 Canada and
the Guide Prayer.
Mrs. Jack McKim spoke to the
'girls about cookie day. Saturday,
May 12.
The, girls were reminded of the
Mother and Daughter banquet. to
be held Thursday, May 24th.
The, girls then wrote their test
for the Child Care Badge and
were dismissed afterwards.
Next -week's-meeting will -be
held Thursday,, as usual.

Family Sunday.
During Centennial
Family Sunday was marked at
Lucknow Presbyterian Church on
.May 13 when the Women's Mis-
sionary Society had. charge of the
worship service.
Mrs. Jack Pollock of Goderich
was the guest speaker, Mrs. Pol-
lock being a former member of
the iocal Evening `Auxiliary.
Miss Maudie Fisher was in
charge of the service assisted by
Mrs. James Smith and Mrs. Jack
MacDonald.
Special music was provided by
Mrs. William Scott and Mrs.
Glenn Noble on organ and piano,
a ladies' choir with Mrs. Philip
Stewart as soloist and a double
duet by Brenda MacDonald, Loree
Gammie, Mary Henderson and
Ruth Henderson.
The men of the congregation
served lunch following the service..
