Thursday this week. 'The meeting opened with: roll call and Flag raising by the Robin 4120 Patrol, followed by 0 Canada and the Guide Prayer. Mrs. Jack McKim spoke to the 'girls about cookie day. Saturday, May 12. The, girls were reminded of the Mother and Daughter banquet. to be held Thursday, May 24th. The, girls then wrote their test for the Child Care Badge and were dismissed afterwards. During Centennial Family Sunday was marked at Lucknow Presbyterian Church on .May 13 when the Women's Mis- sionary Society had. charge of the worship service. Mrs. Jack Pollock of Goderich was the guest speaker, Mrs. Pol- lock being a former member of the iocal Evening `Auxiliary. Miss Maudie Fisher was in charge of the service assisted by Mrs. James Smith and Mrs. Jack MacDonald. Special music was provided by Mrs. William Scott and Mrs. Glenn Noble on organ and piano, a ladies' choir with Mrs. Philip Stewart as soloist and a double duet by Brenda MacDonald, Loree Gammie, Mary Henderson and Ruth Henderson. We extend sympathy to Mr. Frank Johnston and family in the passing of his wife Maude after a lengthy illness. They were form- er residents of concession 10 be- fore moving to Lucknow. Memorial flowers in the Angli- can Church on`Sunday were from Mr. Jim Smith and family in memory of the late Jean Smith and from Rev. and Mrs. Stanley Tomes (Doris Lloyd) and : family in memory of his mother Emily Tomes. Rev. and Mrs. Stanley Tomes were the prayer partners of the Anglican Church Worhen here during the years that they served in the Mission field at Big Trout Lake, Ontario. Rev. and Mrs. James A. Pal- mer of Poraest visited on Sunday afternoon with Edna and May Boyle. .• BAPTISMALS SUNDAY Mr. and Mrs. Clare Sparling, Allan and Douglas of Walkerton ;and Mr. George Haldenby joined other relatives at a dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Hald- enby following the baptism of their little daughter Allyson Dawn at the Anglican Service on Sun- day rnorning.
