Brown Owl presented Anne Alton, Debra Arnold and Suzanne Kirkland with their Second year Service Stars. ' Ikownie Ring closed with Brownie Prayer. Three of the Brownies then went to Miss Helen Thompson to be tested for their Writer: Badge. • They were Betty Stanley, Suz- • anne Kirkland and Lyn Shepherd. At Pow Wow Anne Altorrshow- ed a bird nest and egg she had found andJudy Hunter had three interesting things of nature. Kim- berley Cooke told about her, - project for her Native Lore Badge. Marian Raynard had three things she had made for her Toymaker Badge. During work period Brown Owl had the Brownies that are trying for their Observer Badge, to test them on kinds of flowers. Tawny Owl had the rest of the Pack for a game of "It". , Mrs. Jadk McKim carne to tell the Brownies about selling cook• - ies and gave each of the Brownies from the country a carton of cookies to try and sell. The rest of the Brownies were to go to Mrs'. MdKim's home on Saturday morn- ing to get their cookies. The meeting was closed with the Squeeze and Taps.
