Hunter, Lucitnow, were guests. of honour at a surprise anniversary dinner on Saturday at the home of their daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Roy Keane, 24. Cawston Street, Stratford. The happy event marked 'their forthcoming 35th wedding.anniv- ersary, which will be on June 4th. The dining room was tastefully decorated with pink. and white streamers and bells, a kind nieghbour, Mrs. Bob. Binns, assisted . Marlene with, the. decorating. The dinner table was centred with an attract. ively decorated wedding cake in pink and white color scheme. A buffet dinner was enjoyed by all present, after which Mr. and Mrs. Hunter were presented with gifts. Mrs. Bunter is the former Beryl Gardner. "They have one daughter Mrs. Roy Keane of Stratford, oneson Larry of Pefferlaw and one granddaughter Arlene Keane, Bill and Beryl were former residents of. Zion, 'moving to Lucknow about a year ago when they built a new home on Ross Street. Kenneth MacDonald and Dan Dodds of Ripley waited on council discussing the proposed Commun- ity Centre in Ripley. Council' approved an application by the Ripley Lions Club and, the Ripley and District Recreation Board to sell lottery tickets in Ashfield to raise funds for the new Community Centre.
