Kinloss Sign Agreement Concerning New Street lights In Whitechurch Kinloss Township Council met in regular session on May lst at 7.30 p.m. with the reeve and • •all council present. After the minutes of April 2ndwere adopted the following business was dealt with. , • - • The building by-law 17-1971 , was amended to include paragraph No. 9•.. Allnew buildings con- structed must be at least 75 feet • from centre of road allowance. The agreement was signed be- tween Kinloss Township and Ont- ario Hydro as covered by by-law 3-1947 for installation of new lights in the Hamlet of White- church. • • A motion was passed that Coun- cil withdraw its appeal to the O.M.B. with respect, to the appointment of County rates for 1973 by Bruce County By-law - 2181. The clerk was asked to call tenders on the Kinloss Recreation Committee's swimming equip- ment, consisting of two rafts. This can be seen by contacting the reeve or clerk. Tenders to bein by June 4th. . ' • Kinloss Township accepts the title to 1.17 acres of land, form- erly orm-erly known as the Kinloss'Town- ship dump, from the Saugeen Valley Cons, Authority. Mrs. Lorne Sparks and Pat led in a sing song and Mrs. Ted Collyer conducted a contest. Humorous musical skits were acted out by Mrs. Philip Steer and Mrs.' Don Bell with Mrs. Leonard Clark at ttie piano. Another was by Mrs. Donald C. Maclntyre and family with audience also participating. Miss Brenda Ritchie had another interesting contest. Ardonna Maclntyre, Pat Sparks and Margaret Maclntyre assisted Barbara in opening and displaying her many' beautiful' gifts. A. tasty lunch was served by the hostesses.. Mrs. Boyle was a 4-H Homemaking Club Leader and explained that the club prov- ed to be very creative and ex- tremely interesting for the girls. Mrs. George McDonald as con- vener of Family and Consumer Affairs introduced Mrs. Boyle and following the demonstration presented her with a gift in appre. ciation. . . Plans were discussedregarding serving lunch to the speakers at the meeting on May 22nd planned -by the Community Action Group. This meeting will be open to the -public and the possibility of a medical centre with Dr.. Cope- land of Toronto in attendance will be discussed.
