St. Augustine Has.
Active You'll Club
The St. Augustine Youth Club
has been active lately. One
event leads to another making
activities enjoyable and well
attended. The Club will soon be
closing another successful year,
but before closing there is roller
Skating and of course the May
dance on May 4th. '
The major spring activity i&
the redecorating of the Church
basement. The hall was in need
of repairs and the Youth Group
volunteered their services. ,For
the past few Saturdays plus a
few week nights, the group
has been striving to • finish their
task. There were many general
repairs to be done and with the
various skills of the members and
Father Dentinger each task was
completed. Theban Walls are
being painted in a beige colour
with a dark brown trim. The
members are offering their spare
time to accomplish the end result:
As time passes the group attains'
pride in the beauty resulting
from their previous hard work.
When, completed the group hopes
to hold an open house
so that the parish can see the
definite improvements.'
The youth Club is planning
a May Dance in the Auburn Hall,
The proceeds from this dance ,
will be used for the
improvements in the hall.
