Letter To Editor
March 24, 1973.
Lucknow Sentinel, '
Dicknow, Ontario.
Dear Editor;
There will be a public meet-
ing in support of the Citizen Corn.
mittee,on Wednesday; April 25 at
8.00 p.m. in Mount Forest Town
Hall. Your personal attendance
or a representative from your
office would be appreciated at
thi,s meeting. • •
I personally believe that we
have an unjust professional law •• -
trying to deprive us of a much
needed service in this area,. The
dentists should confine their pro-
fessional knowledge and lime in
preventing tooth decay rather
than' act as dental plate salesmen.,
I believe if more prevention is
given, we the citizens would'.
have better dental health.
There is a need for denturists-
in Ontario and they should be
supported' in, their plight forrecog
nition. Denturists are allowed
to practice without "Dentist suer-
vision" in the provinces of British
Columbia, Alberti, Manitoba,
and Nova Scotia.
Your attendance and coverage
of this public meeting will be
appreciated.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs. Patricia Ward,'

I see by the date on 'my paper
that it is that dale again. I .
don't want to give you the irnpres
sion that I begrudge this .because,
the Sentinel 'is' heartily welcome
each week in, my mail box. I •
feel that you folks do a• tremen-
dous job and I surely enjoy my
paper.
I sometimes meet Mary Haines
(Allin) and of course we have a'
lot, to compare about. events
(back home). Clifford Mac Mil-
lar) is one of the executive-of'the
Union on the St. Lawrence Sea-
way so I can'sometimes take up a
little of his valuable time. He
lives in St. Catharines so I only
see him.at a union meeting.
Wendy Grant from Blyth•quite of7

Lucknow anckso:theitOry goes.'
The fellows at work can't under ,
stand, after being away for nearly
35 years, 'what possible interest
could I have there now. Some-
times I don't get my paper read
at home and Iput it in my lurid)
pail and if I get . a chance be-
tween vessels I read and I catch
the 'other fellows looking through
it too. "
Well, enough for now..
Yours very truly, •
