The Holyrood Wothen's Insti-
tute annual meeting was held in
the hall with, the 1st vice presid-
ent Mrs. Lyitran Sutton presiding.,
The Meeting opened with the

Mrs. Lorne Eadie gave the
treasurer's report and the Com-
munications , which included
letters from Mrs. Nobleton and
-the Lucknow Agricultural Society.
The Achievement Day for the
Block Printing Course will be at
Kincardine on May 5th.
The minutes of the last annual
meeting were then read and the
financial statement was given.
Mrs.' Jack Maxwell gave the aud-
itors, report. Mrs. Alex Percy
reported on Agriculture and Can-
adian Industries. Mrs._ Ellwood
Elliott on Family and Consumer
Affairs. Mrs. Frank Maulden
on Education and Cultural Activ-
ities. Mrs. Dan McInnes gave
the Curators report and Miss '
Edna Boyle reported for the Pub-
lic Relations.
Mrs. P. A. Murray presented

Mrs. Alex Percy presented two

made fitting replies. Mrs. Ray-
nard Ackert then took over,and
led in community singing, also

On Sunday the occasion of`her
birthday the family surprised
her with a family get-together.

On Monday evening a
progressive euchre and shoot
party was held: in Whitechurch
.COmmunity Memorial Hall.
There were 17 tables in play.
