and high double with scores of
188 and 324.
For the men it was Haryey Hous-
ton with a high single of 219, 'and
high double of 388.

Annual Dinner For
Kinloss League
The Kinloss bowling league
held their annual banquet on April
9th in, the Parish Hall. •
Mary Lavis was a very capable
chairlady for.the evening. The
Anglican Church ladies served
a very delicious dinner for which
Fraser MacKinnon expressed
thanks and Mrs.' Gaunt replied.
The hi -light of the evening
was the presenting of the prizes,
won throughout the year. It
was such a very close battle all •
winter that every team deserved
to win. But finally the Spys
won.tnit as winners of the season.
Members of this team are: Harry •
and Mary Lavis, Alf and, Belle
;Herbert.,`Murray •MacKinnon
and Jack Henderson. Ira Dickie'
presented them with theircPiZes.
The season's individual highs
for the men were: high aVerage ,
Alf Herbert 198; high triple,
Gerald Rhody 716; high single,
Jelle de Jong 307. For. the .ladies:
high average went to Belle Her-
bert• 161; high triple , Marilyn
Rhody 605; high single, Doris
'MacKinnon 250. Gerda de Jong
presented the' ladies' prizes.
The Pippins were the winners
of the Play-offs. Memberse of
this team are: Ira and' Elizabeth
Dickie Jelle and Gerda de Jong,
Jim Lavis -and Marilyn Rhody.
High spores in the play-offs were:
for the men, high average,

Lloyd MacDougall 643; high

The• two losing teams were
'the Mies and Wealthys.. Each
,members 'got a small prize for
being such good sport's. The fin-
ancial report showed that we
were $3.71 in, the "hole', but a
collection pulled us out, so we
are now $6.34 on top.
The standing executive agreed
to handle the 'business for, another
year, 'President, Mary Lavis,
Vice, Ann MacDougall, Sec.
Treas. , Gerda de Jong. The
League presented the sec.treas.
with a gift for her Work.
A few,rounds of cards were en-
joyed. The MacKinnons manag-
ed to shine out with Fraser being
high man and Boris high lady.
Murray Keith was low man, and
Mary Lav4 low lady. They each
received a small prize.
A sing song and two very nice
solos by Walter Dexter with Agnes
Farrier zat the piano brought the
evening to a
Topt Club
Fourteen, members weighed in
April 11 to show a total loss of
11 1/2 lbs. After 'the Tops Pledge
was repeated Marion Hurrimei
led us in a sing song.
Maly Lou Raynard was 'crown-
ed queen of the week and won
the fruit basket. Dorothy Finlay-
son won the• draw. The evening
was closed with exercises.
We have 3 new members this
month and we would welcome
anyone who' is interested in losing
weight. Come and join us next
week and, see the fun we have.
Maybe you could be wearing a
bikini this summer.
