TSAI' Russ Button of Lucknow has
returned home from University
Hospital, London where he was a
patient for ten days following
knee surgery. Russ had suffered
the injury at his farm when, a
• side of beef fell knocking him
down and injuring his knee,. He
is now wearing a knee cast.
THAT lvIrs. Harvey Houston,
Public Relations officer with the
Federated Women's Institute of
Ontario, attended the semi-an,-
nual Board, of Directors meeting

THAT Herman Laming, Lucknow
baker, entered Victoria Hospit-
al in London on Monday for sur-
gery on Tuesday. i-Ierrnan has
a severe arthritic condition
which has worsened rapidly and
causes him great difficulty in
walking, The surgery will prov7
ide him with "plastic hips" and
it is expected he will be hospit-
alized for some time. Mrs.
Lanting and son Fred will oper-
ate the bakeshop during his
convalescence.
THAT on Wednesday evening,
April 4th Mrs. Ewart Taylor,
Lucknow, Mrs. Jack Scott and
Beverely and Mrs. Morgan John-
ston and Julie of Ripley attended
Collection 73 at Seneca College
Willowdale,. The Fashion Show
was presented by the Fashion
Arts Students. Miss Jackie John-
ston was fashion Co-ordinator
of the show as well as model-
ling several original designs.•
THAT Monday evening, April
9th,. produced a-substantial snow
fall locally, and coupled with
'high winds, blizzard conditions
prevailed for a short time. •
However Tuesday brought• nor-
mal April weather again, ex- .
cept for the snow covering the

pital was one of the busiest
plaCes in. Walkerton on .Thursday
and Friday of last week.,
On Unit III, the' obstetrical
floor' the nursery was a flourishing
place with six babies, four of
which were born on the Tuesday.
On Thursday, Mrs. Ken Hartman
gave birth to twin girls., Mr. and
Mrs. Hartman,. who live in. Walk:
erron, had been informed the
previous , day that this, their first
baby, would be twins. They
are naming their girls Jennifer
Anne and Anne Katherine..
.On Friday, Mrs. Bruce Stinson
entered hospital and
within half an hour gave birth
to identidal triplet girls, April 0
Dawn 4 pounds 3 ounces; Jennifer
Joy; 3 pounds 12 Ounces and'
Renee Lynn, 3 pounds six ounces.
They, were born in that order.
They have a twenty month old
brother Jason. •
me. and Mrs. Bruce Stinson
live at R. R. 2 Mildrnay. Mrs.
Stinson, the former Donna Swanz-
ey is a registered nurse and had
nursed ,at. the 'Walkerton Hospital
until four weeks ago. ,
It was Dr. 13ajurriy:s first deliv-
ery of triplets and the father,
Bruce , had the unique experience
of being in the del ivery room
and witnessed the entry into
the world of his triplet daughters'.
