win this pair. Turn out this

Juveniles Win
Semi-Finals
Lucknow Juveniles won the •
9.M.H.A. Juvenile "D" semi-
finals by virtue of a 5-3 win.over
Cottam in Essex on Tuesday
night of last week. "
This gave Lucknow the best-of-
three series two games to one ,
with one game tied.' It put them
into the finafi against Havelock.
Lucknow lost the first game in
Essex, tied the seeorid game in
Lucknow , won the third game
here and wrapped it up in Essex
last week.
• The game was, a close one with
the local team trailing 2-1 at
one point. It was a 3=3 tie 'early
in the third period when Dave
Black scored the winning goal
putting LuclincW'ahead.4-3 . Ian
MOntgdmery scored the insurance l.
marker with less than three min-
utes to play in the game.
Other Lucknow goals were •
scored by Stewart Mann, Kevin
and Jim Murray.
Novice_Play In
Exhibition Games
While waiting for further
competition in the Grand Champ
ionship, the local Novice team
-played two exhibition games.
The first game was on Friday,
March 23rd in the Lucknow arena
with Kincardine. Lucknow came
out on the short end of .a 7-2
score. Larry MacPherson had 1
goal and 1 assist and Brad Hum-
phrey notched 1 goal. On• Wed-
nesday, March 28th the Ripley
squad were the visitors and
LucknOw came' up with'a 5 to.1
win. Point setters-for Lucknow ,
were Brad Humphrey .1 goal and I
assist. Doug 'Dorscht, Stephen
Simpson, Donald Elliott and Mike
Dennis 1 goal. each. Larry Mac-
Pherson,Blair Alton, Stephen
MacPherson,,and Brian Elpliick
