Mrs. Jack Campbell returned
to her home in Lucknow on Satur-
day after spending six, weeks visit-
ing relatives in Bethune, Prince
Albert 'and Saskatoon, Saskatche-
wan. The, trip was made by
plane.
Miss Lois Wardell of Bright
visited at the home of her par-
ents Mk. and mrs. Les Wardell
of Amberley for the week end..
Mrs. Harvey Webb has returned
from Daytona Beach, Florida
where she spent the past winter
months. Mrs. Webb now resides
in Wingham.
Jim Webster of Kitchener and
his friend Joe Rahim of Waterloo
spent last week end with Jim's ,
parents Mr. and Mrs. Wellington
Webster, of Amberley.

The annual meeting of the Luek-
now Women's Institute will be
held on Friday,' April 13th at 3.30
p.m. in the Assembly Room.of
the Town Hall. Pot Luck supper;
Sunshine Sisters exchange of gifts;
roll call, paying of fees. Every-'
one, welcome .
Stuart Collyer returned home
Sunday. from Shouldice Hospital,
Thornhill; where he was a pat-
ient for a week following surgery.

The committee gained an insight
into why the Corripany wanted to

A discussion On the advisability
of establishing a Core Group who
would -have no special duties but
agree to attend meetings and, .

Since Greg Darjes was ill with
flu , Cameron McAuley divided
the group into three smaller
groups ,and had them do an exer-
cise\on a new'.problem of trying
to attract a medical practice to
the village both for people•and ,
to serve the dairy farmers of the
area. This exercise proved inter-
esting and shOWed that the Group
is learning how to tackle a
ptoblem and a committee Was
appointed to take the thinking
of the Group to the next village
council Meeting,. Reg Moore,
John Gamble, Mr. Roorieyand
John C. MacDonald.
The next meeting will be held •
in St. Paul's Anglican chnrch.

Teeswater United Church was
the 'setting for the wedding, on
Sattirday, March 3, 1973 when
Mrs. Shirley (Hodgins) Donaldson
of Teeswater was united in'mar-
riage with William V. Gilbert
of Kitchener.
She was given in marriage by
her son Steven and her .
daughter Kendra acted as maid
of honour. Frank Dingethal was
groomsman for his, father-in-law.
The newlyweds honeymooned
in Arizona. Mr. and Mrs. Gil-
bert will be living at 7 61en.
