The later hyacinth buds are showing color and the tulip leaves are 3' to 4 inches in height. Detroit Man Dies Suddenly S. CHARLES SHERWOOD The sudden death of Samuel Charles Sherwood, 15348 Glast- onbury Ave. , Detroit, Michigan occurred March 23rd in his 76th year - three months after the death of his wife Edith' Mcnnes. Mr. Sherwood died following a heart attack. Left to mourn his passing are two sisters Mrs. James (Ida) Barbour, London and Mrs. Andrew (Matilda) Gaunt, Luck- now , and one brother Frail, Goderich. • He was, predeceased by his father and mother Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Sherwood and' three brothers Ernest, Wesley, James and two sisters (Lavina) Mrs. Elliott Miller and (Deneda) Mrs. Leslie Ritchie! The funeral service was helL1 . frorn the McCabe Funeral Home in Detroit on Tuesday, March 27th at 2 p.m. conducted by the Reverend Dr. Richard A.
