Those, from the Village who were on the trip were delighted to tell hoW the' sap was taken frOni the trees and made into syrup. • Great was the enjoyment to eat their lunch in the bush. Present frbm the CounCil were Reeve Leo Murray, Clerk Fraser MacKinnon and Council-. lors Don Bell, Duncan Campbell and Grant. Eckenswiller. Reeve "Leo Murray had receiv- ed approximate figures on the . cost of new lights with addition of extra pole, The rough estirh- ate was $1650 with $1299 of this to be absorbed by 28 homes. After much discutsion it `Was` moved by Erners6n Hickey and seconded by Russel Chapman that' the village go ahead and secure more information on a new street lighting system.
