Dawson investigated a two vehic-
le collision on Huron St. , Ripley.
A vehicle operated ,by Ray Leitch,
,Kincardine was in collision with
a second vehicle operated by
Henry Varley; London. There °
were personal injuries and ex-
tensive vehicle' damage as a resul
of the collision.,
On Saturday, March 17.Con-
stable Wiwczaryk investigated a
two vehicle accident' on #9 high-
may. •A westbound vehicle oper
ated by John BiloW Toronto was
in collision with an eastbound
vehicle operated by
Leland Stanley, R. R. 4 Kincar-
dine. There was extensive dani-
age as a result of the collision;
On Sunday, March 18, Con- •
stable Renwick investigated a
two vehicle collision on #21 high-
.southbound vehicle oper-
ated' by Walter Hellings Chat-
ham was in'collision with a north-
bound vehicle operated by Jean-
ette Hyden, Kincardine. Both
'vehicles, Were heavily damaged.

a single car, accident on #21
highway on Sunday, March 18. A

stable Daulby investigated a two
vehicle collision on Huron•Road , •
Amberley Beach. A vehicle op-
erated by Clifford Emmerton„ R.
R. 1,, Ripley.was in collision with
a second vehicle operated by,
Margaret Bell, Stratford.
• On March 23 Constable Daulby
investigated a two vehicle colli-
sion in Lucknow. A' vehicle op-
erated by Richard O'Malley,
R. R. 2 Teeswatet was in colli-
sion 'with a second vehicle oper- •
ated by Wayne Carter, 4. R. # 5
Lucknow. , •
On Saturday, March 24, Con-
stable POland investigated a sin-
gle vehicle accident on the North
Shore Road. A vehicle operated
by Douglas Cottrill, Tiverton left
the road and struck 'a hydro pole.
.There was extensive damage to
the vehicle and the hydro pole '
was broken.
SUMMER DETACHMENT
The 0.P.P. will open a sum
mer detachment at Tobermory.
This detachment.will be open
from early May to mid October
each year. ' The detachment will
be located on No, 6 Highway in
the Village of Tobermory and.
.will be staffed by three officers
drawn from the' various perman-
ent detachments located in No.
6 District. The three officers
will be responsible for the polic-
ing of. St. Edmunds Township
and the new. underwater Park..
Part of• the equipment located
at the detachment will. be 'a
. cruiser., boat , motor and trailer.
The officers stationed at the
new' detachment for 1973 will
be Provincial 'Constable J. N.
McIntosh, Mount Forest; E. J.
Phillips, GUelph and G. G. . •
Woodroffe, Kitchener: All three
men will be trained,in the opera-
tion of the marine equipirient and
Constable ,McIntosh is a fully
qualified scuba diver. • •
• With .the opening of this sum-
mer detachment, it will bring
the total of summer d„etachments
in No. 6 District to two ; Saubie
'Beach being the other. There
are also 16 permanent O.P.P.
Detachments in the Counties of ./.
Grey, Bruce, Huron, Perth, Wel-
lington and Waterloo, which make
up No. 6, District.
