taking a course in electronics.
Communicants class was held
in Ashfield church this Sunday at
2.45 p. m. Six members from
Ashfield and two' from Ripley
congregation, attended.
Mr. arid Mrs. Don MacKinnon
and son Patrick, spent the week
end with Mr. and Mrs. Finlay
MacDonald.

MacKenzie, who travelled as far

through a federal grant, froth the
Sedetary of State. Young N.F.
U. members taking part in the ex-
change are from the Maritimes,
Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan
and the- Peace River.
Ripley United , Church, decorat-
ed with mums and candelabra,
was the setting for the marriage
of Marjorie Grace Colling and
Kenneth Warren Wylds on.Friday,
March 9 at 6 :30' p.m. '4Ls,
Rev. George .Ball officiated at'
the'double ring ceremony. •
• The bride is the•daughter of •
Mr. and Mrs. 'Allan Coiling of
R. R. 4 Ripley and the groom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren
,Wylds of Ashfield Township.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride chose a, lade
dress, long full lace sleeves and
nylon sheer yoke, trimmed with
white ribbon around the high
empire waist and drop pearl trim
around theneckline.
Her long nylon veil was trim-
med. with lace and held by a flor-
al headpiece.
Donna MacLennan of Ripley
was maid of honour. She wore a
long gown of blue chiffon satin •
with, white lace ,top and carried
red roses: •
Bridesmaids were Donna Wylds,
sister of the groom and Cathy
Van Boven, friend of the bride.
Their' dresses were-the same• as
the maid, of honour's and they
carried red roses:
Flower girl was Sonya Schmidt,
niece of the bride. • She wore a
full length dress of white
polyester satin, trimmed with
blue ribbon and'carried a basket
of red roses.
Edward Moore of Ripley was
riiigbearer.
Groomsman was Kenneth Mad-
Lennan of Ripley, friend of the
groom. , •
'Ushers were Steven. Wylds,
brother of the•groom and Hugh
Machines, 'friend of the groom.
Wedding music was, by Mrs.
Douglas Martyr,' as.organist and
Elliott Carruthers as violinist.

fitted sleeveless gown of coral
polyester. knit „ white gloves
and.corsage of white pom pom
mums. '
The couple are residing in
Lucknow.
