Mrs. Luther of Hensall led the

services on Sunday evening in the
chapel, With Mr. Luther provid-'
ing the organ accompaniment for
the hymn sing. June Campbell
played several accordian solos
and Mrs. Gwen Whilsrnith led the
devotional period, illustrating
the bible story with coloured
slides. ,
MOnday's program had an Irish
theme,, in honour of Saint Pat-
rick. One of the guests of the
day, Mrs. Wolfe, who lives near
Dublin and plays piano and har-
monica; played for the sing-sang
of Irish songs and joined Marie
Flynn, Norman Spier and Jerry
Collins for the old tyme music.
A vocal solo by Morgan Dalton
and the singing of Happy Birthday
were included in the afternoon's
activities, with the assistance of
the Christian Reformed volunteers
and Mr. and Mrs. Dale: -

Kinloss Council held a special
meeting on February 19th with
the reeve and all council pres-
.ent.
A petition was accepted from
Whitechurch ratepayers for im-
provement in street lighting and
the clerk was asked to contact
Ontario Hydro for 'a price'quota,7.
tion on this.
Tenders are being called for ,
crushed gravel, pit run gravel and
heavy machinery.
Applications will be received
for Warble Fly inspector:' Appli-
cant to state salary and supply own
transportation and applications
to be in to clerk by 6 p.m. March
19th.
The regular meeting was held
March 5, 1973 at 7.30 with every-
one present.
After the' minutes of February
5th and 19th were• adopted, the
folloWing business was dealt with.
It was decided by Council that
Kinloss assume responsibility for
the winter control on their portion
of, the Huron-Kinloss boundary
retroactive to-January 1st, 1973.
Also weed spraying, cutting grass
and dragging. •
Ken Voisin was engaged as '
sprayer for Warble Fly at, 25 cents
per head, a minimum 'charge of
$3.00. for 12 head or,less.:: Warm
water will be supplied as well as
the pOwder.
Court of • Revision was held on
the Conley Imp. drain and By-
law 3-1973 was, given 3rd and
final reading.
Chas. Murray and Donald ibis
were refunded 1972 taxes on barns
they had burned.
The clerk was asked to contact
Dominion Road Machinery Co. 'to
have a representative at the
March 19th meeting to discuss/
snowplow: equipment rental for the
year 73-34.

Club Celebrates ,
St. Patrick's Day
A pleasant evening was held at
the Town and Country Club on
Tuesday evening, when almost
one hundred members and visitors
met to celebrate St. Patricks Day.
The early part of the evening
was spent- in playing cards, after
which an interesting progkarn be=
gan.
Mi. and. Mrs. Russel Swan and,
family entertained the audience
with several Irish selections.
Mrs. Swan was pianist for the
evening and was accompanied by
Basil Hogan with his violin and
Russel Swan with the_guitar.
