Adeline, along with Mrs. Archie MacDon- ald. spent some time this winter in Florida. another brother Dr. F. Scott Mac- , Kenzie, prominent minister and Montreal University professot who lived' a few years ago in the old Ripley Public School apartment building. Mary Hannah was a great worker in the churcl) and community and well liked by everyone. ' • • • • The Ripley Local History Group met in the Ripley. Huron Legion Hall on. Friday, March 9 with 50 members present. R011 call was an Irish joke. The hall was dec- orated for St. Patrick's Day by , Mrs.,Orah Crawford. Cards were enjoyed for an hour. The pro-, gram committee was Mrs, Donnie MacDonald , Mrs. Wm. Courtney, Mrs, Bert Irwin and Mrs. Frank Fair. It wa;decided to complete the year with a pot luck dinner. It was a rather pretty sight to see the line of car' lights passing east along Malcolm Street as the party made a car tour of,the village after thewed- ding.
