THAT Mrs. James Wraith of Lucks
now. returned last Saturday from
a three week holiday in Florida.
She accompanied her sister Mrs.
Dunc.,Keith of Teeswatei. They
made the trip by air 'from Mal-
ton and holidayed at Lakeland, •
Florida 'with their sister Mrs.
Nick Michelbrook and Mr. Mich-
elbook, Mr. and Mrs. Michel-
boa's home is in Wisconsin but
they spend their winters in Flor-
ida.

THAT Mrs. 0, G. AndersOn, a
Belgrave octogenarian, who has
• been a patient in Wingham, and
District Hospital -for some time,.
had the misfortune to fall at the
hospital on Tuesday afternoon
of last week and suffered a frac-
tured hip. She was taken by
ambulance to University Hospit-
al, London where j sh underwent e
' surgery on Thursday. Mrs. '
Anderson, who is in her 87th
year, is the former Elizabeth
• Rutherford-of St, Helens. Mrs.
Bryce Elliott of Lucknow is a
daughter.

Alton of ,Lucknow returned last
Friday from a two week con-
ducted bus tour to Florida.
They travelled as far south as
Miami. One of "the highlights
for Mr. Alton was when he went
deep sea fishing one 'morning
and caught three King macker-
el each about' 30" in length.

Arizona to visit with"their son
Chuck, his wife and two daugh-
ters. Accompanying Chuck., and
his family ,they. motored • on to
California , where they spent a
couple of days at Disneylind and
also visited in Long Beach with.
• 'Mr. and. Mrs: Joe Wasney,
former residents of Lucknciw.
Mr. and Mrs. Al Martin (form-
erly Jean Thom of this area) alsc
visited with them at the Wasney
home. Mr. and 'Mrs. McDonagb
were away a month. They
were accompanied by Mrs. Gor-
don Walters (Winnie Farrish) of
Goderich, who visited with ,
friends in Tuscon,•Arizona• for
two weeks.

Mrs. Gordon Firilayson enjoyed
a trip.to Portugal along with sev-
eral nurses from Wingham.
Johri'bradley spent •the week end
with his parents Mr. and /An.
Eldon Bradley. John will soon be
into exams and will be busy dur-
ing the next few weeks.
Fred Ritchie of Huntsville has
been visiting with relatives and
friends in the community.
Sunday was picture -taking day
at Ashfield. Presbyterian Church in
preparation for the anniversary
