Saturday evening and early
Sunday morning was also a
"going" time as a stag party was
held. Early Sunday morning as
each car returned to Ripley the
driver tooted his horn at the
main corner somewhat in the tra-
dition of the inspection of the
fleet where each ship dips its flag
as it passes the admiral's ship.
Just one car didn't make it back.
It smashed into the ditch near
Johnston MacLeod's gateway on
the fifteenth south of Ripley.
