Friendship Is by Paul Culbert
Friendship is the love to others,
To our fathers and'our mothers,
Friendship is people loving God ,
When up the path of death we
trod.
Friendship is our minds controlled
And our tempers well at hold
Friendship is an upward trail,
Out of the• mean old hand 'of
jail.
•Friendship is the best thing known
To catch those nasty words we've
thrown,
Friendship's something we all
share
To earn the love and special
care.
