The Kairshea Designers held
their fourth meeting on Friday,
4ebruary 23-at Mrs.' Roulston's '

last 'meeting. "Our next .meeting

Mrs. Roulston discussed paint
daubers and Mrs. Murray demon-
strated making one. Mrs. 'Murray
discussed articles we can make
with block printing.
. All members then made a
design on a 2" x,3" eraser. We
closed with the motto.
The fifth meeting of the Clover
Valley Artistic "7" was held on
February 20 at the hoMe of
Wendy Hamilton. We opened the
meeting with the 4-.H pledge after
which the roll call was answered
by all members.
The minutes of the last meet-
ing were read' by Laurie Coiling.
The 'way .to reverse a design was
demonstrated by Mrs. ,Ray Hamil,-

farm on concession 4, Kinloss.
Gordon and Kay Bailey op,ened
a beauty salon in the Breckles
building on Main Street. They
had come to Lucknow from Sutton,
where they had previously been
in the hairdressing business.

Public School teachers had to
undergo salary reductions. Teach.
ers had been notified accordingly
and had uriVil July 14th to accept,

Continuation School principal's
salary was reduced to $1850, with
other three teachers receiving
$1300, $1250 and $1050. The
Public School teachers also had
to accept a salary reduction.
Rey . E. 0.• Gallagher, minister
of Lucknow Anglican Church, was
appointed to ,St. Thomas Church,
Owen Sound. Rev. J. H. Geog-
hegan, was transferred from Owen
Sound to the Luoknow parish.

The first meeting of the Dun-
gannon II 4-H club was held at
the home of Mrs. Howard'Culbert
February 24 with nine members
present.
The,election of officers was
held and results are as follows: .
President , )3arb 'Culbert; Vice-
Preildent , Judy Wintemute; Sec-
retary, Lori Pentland; Treasurer,
Francis Logtenberg. The leaders
for this clubere Mrs. H. Culbert
and Mrs. Roy. Wintemute.
The members decided to name
their club the Dungannon Knit-
Wits. They discussed Sportswear
from,Knits. After taking each
other`i measurements the meet- ,
ing adjourned .
The next will be February 28
at Mrs. Culbert's.
