Trophies were presented to the
winners, as well as awards-to '
all others, by Gordon Montgomer);
Legion president and Irvine Eedy,
Legion public speaking chairman.
Irvine presented gifts to the judges,
Clem Staffer, , principal at
St. Josephs School at Kingsbridge
and Stuart Collyer , principal at
Lucknow Central, were presented
with the school trophies.in recog-
nition of the first place winners
from both schools.
The e,ntertainment committee
of the Lucknow Agricultural Soc- •
iety , with a' full attendance, met
at the home-of Mr. and Mrs. Rus-
sel,ftvin to discuss plans for the
coming year.
Glen Walden was appointed
Chairman and Mr. and Mrs. Ross
Errington are acting as secretary.

the Fall Fair on September 14th
and 15th, and books were to be
ordered to start practising for a
,p1ay next fall.
