All Campaigns Will
Be Advertised
Stuart Collyer, chairman of the
Lucknow District campaign for the
Canadian National Institute for
the' Blind, reported to the Sentinel
last week that he was concerned
that unauthorized young people
had been collecting money, in the
town in the name o the blind
fund. The Story appeared in last
week's Sentinel;
The students at the public
school have done ,a credAable job
in recent years in collecting for
this charity and last Fall raised
$430 from this area.
Mr..Collyer wished it pointed
out that any local canvass would
he advertised prior to children
making collections and that the
blind canvass of the area is al-
ways in October. All canvassers
will have identification.
The youths responsible for the
fraudulent collections have been
discovered and the 'matter has
been dealt with.
